Receipt Scanning

When you use our receipt scanning feature, the image processing happens entirely on your device using Google ML Kit. We do not upload, store, or have access to your receipt images. The only data extracted is the total amount, which remains on your device.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
  • Save your preferences for a personalized experience

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: All your calculation data, preferences, and history are stored locally on your device. We do not have servers that collect or store this personal data.

Apple Watch Sync: If you use our Apple Watch app, data syncs between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's secure WatchConnectivity framework. This data never leaves your devices.

Security: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

Google ML Kit

Your Rights and Choices

Data Control

  • You can delete all app data by uninstalling the App
  • You can disable ads by purchasing the ad-free version
  • You can reset calculation history within the App settings
  • You can modify all preferences at any time in the App settings

Permissions

The App may request camera permission for receipt scanning. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time through your device settings. The App will continue to function without this permission, except for the receipt scanning feature.

Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is rated 4+ on the App Store as it contains no objectionable content, but it is designed for use by teens and adults.

International Users

The App is available internationally. Your use of the App constitutes your consent to the processing of information as described in this Privacy Policy, regardless of your country of residence.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request access to or deletion of your personal information. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over this information.
